The 63rd Executive Committee Meeting of APRACA  was held in Le Méridien Etoile Hotel, Paris, France on September 27, 2013, concurrent with the World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance hosted by Credit Agricole S.A. During the four-hour meeting, the Excom members discussed important issues such as APRACA two-year budget, the association's action plan, new membership applicants and three proposals submitted by Bank Keshavarzi.

Based on the proposals already sent to the secretariat and following Dr. Talebi's speech elaborating on the need to make some changes in APRACA interior procedures, Bank Keshavarzi proposed that the present rotary and traditional procedure of chair election be replaced by a scientific and integrated one in which items such as terms and conditions of application, required qualifications of candidates, status of the nominating member are included. The proposal was unanimously agreed by the Excom members and establishment of a sub-committee was approved to study and follow-up the formulation of a draft set of guidelines.

The meeting was continued by discussing the bank's proposal regarding the establishment of APRACA Representative Office of Strategic Evaluation and Control based in Bank Keshavarzi of Iran. Welcoming the proposal and realizing its prospective advantages and benefits, the members agreed on conducting the strategic evaluation and control procedures for an APRACA typical project to discuss the findings and achievements in the next Excom meeting.

Bank Keshavarzi's proposal to launch APRACA Center of Excellence on Women Empowering was the next agenda discussed and unanimously agreed upon by the Excom members. Upon approval of ACE-BK on Women Empowering by the Executive Committee, APRACA Secretary General and Mr. Kim Vada, APRACA Chairman, signed an MoU with Dr. Talebi, Bank Keshavarzi Chairman and Managing Director.

By the end of the meeting, expressing his appreciation to Bank Keshavrzi for its support and contribution to the association, Mr. Won Sik Noh, APRACA General Secretary, hoped for better use of Bank Keshavarzi's resources and specialties to benefit all APRACA members.
