Dr. Morteza Shahidzadeh, Bank Keshavarzi Chairman and Managing Director, was elected as a member of ADFIMI Management Committee (MC).
According to Public Relations and International Cooperation Department (PRICD), Dr. Morteza Shahidzadeh, Bank Keshavarzi Chairman and Managing Director, was elected as a member of ADFIMI Management Committee (MC) by the 32nd General Assembly. The tenure of the previous three members of the MC ended on May 15, 2016.
ADFIMI is managed by a non-resident Management Committee composed of nine ordinary members providing an adequate geographical representation of the Islamic Countries, and Dr. Shahidzadeh was elected for three years to permanent seat of Iran, according to a report issued by PRICD.
ADFIMI, which stands for Association of National Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), started its operations in September 1987 at its headquarters is in Istanbul, Turkey. The Vision of ADFIMI lies in recognizing ethical values in economic development and stability; Its Vision is human development and quality of life without oppression of poverty. Recognizing and respecting the Regional and Islamic Ethics, international rules and regulation of good governance, of sustainability and of democratization.
The Association mission is to bring the societies of the region closer in economic and cultural ties in respect of Human Resource and Economic Development.
