MISSION
APRACA pursues promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of rural finance and access to financial services in order to broaden the target group.
ACTIVITIES
-         Foster cooperation in improving and planning the financial arrangements for rural and agricultural development.
-         Establish among the members, machinery for systematic interchange of information on sustainable rural and agricultural financial services.
-         Encourage and assist in undertaking inter-country studies on matters of common interest in the field of rural finance, and publish and distribute such studies.
-         Organize and coordinate training programs on rural finance, and facilitate the exchange of personnel/experts among the members.
-         Provide services related to consultancy, research and publications in the field of rural finance.
-         Facilitate cooperation on rural finance projects between the members and donors, including assistance in preparing project proposals and implementing projects
ACHIEVEMENTS
-         IFAD-supported Regional Program of Accelerating the Financial Empowerment of Poor Rural Communities in Asia and the Pacific  through Rural Finance Innovations (Fin-Power Program)
-          Creation of Centers of Excellence, a designation bestowed by APRACA on a committed APRACA member institution, which jointly with APRACA, undertakes activities built around a specific thematic focus. Examples of thematic focuses are: risk management, information technology, linking bank with self-help groups, financially empowering women, etc.

MISSION
CICA is a non-profit world-wide association of banks and other entities interested and involved in rural financial processes.
CICA's goals are:
-         to provide board members and top executives of associated institutions with updated knowledge for policy orientation;
-         to encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences among them;
-         to stimulate their sensitivity and responsiveness for the improvement of financial processes in agriculture and the rural sector;
-         and, eventually, to bring about a positive impact also on public opinion, governments and specialized agencies.
ACTIVITIES
-         Studying the key questions of the moment regarding the agricultural and food-processing economy on a global level;
-         Expanding their own thoughts and knowledge by studies and analyses focused on developments in the agricultural and rural sector and on its financing needs, as well as on adaptations and changes in banking activities as a result;
-         Updating their information on the big issues in the contemporary world of banking and financing which, in response to general demand, have started expanding the CICA’s field of analysis and exchange.

MISSION
To bring the societies of the region closer in economic and cultural ties in respect of Human Resource and Economic Development.
ACTIVITIES

MISSION
The Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) is an international standard-setting organization that promotes and enhances the soundness and stability of the Islamic financial services industry by issuing global prudential standards and guiding principles for the industry, broadly defined to include banking, capital markets and insurance sectors.
ACTIVITIES
-         To promote the development of a prudent and transparent Islamic financial services industry through introducing new, or adapting existing, international standards consistent with Shari`ah principles, and recommending these for adoption
-         To provide guidance on the effective supervision and regulation of institutions offering Islamic financial products and to develop for the Islamic financial services industry the criteria for identifying, measuring, managing and disclosing risks, taking into account international standards for valuation, income and expense calculation, and disclosure.
-         To liaise and cooperate with relevant organizations currently setting standards for the stability and the soundness of the international monetary and financial systems and those of the member countries.
-         To enhance and coordinate initiatives to develop instruments and procedures for efficient operations and risk management.
-         To encourage cooperation amongst member countries in developing the Islamic financial services industry.
-         To facilitate training and personnel development in skills in areas relevant to the effective regulation of the Islamic financial services industry and related markets.
-         To undertake research into, and publish studies and surveys on, the Islamic financial services industry.
-         To establish a database of Islamic banks, financial institutions and industry experts.
