To achieve sustainable development and environment protection, including water resources, soil, air, forests, rangelands, and other natural resources, the bank offers considerable credit facilities in terms of environment sustainability. Chief among the green projects financed by the bank is the electrifying of agricultural water wells. ABI approved allocation of some credit facilities to equip water wells in rural areas aimed at reducing consumption of oil products, preventing environmental pollution due to leakage and spread of gas oil into environment, reducing sound pollution, economizing foreign currencies expenditures, etc.
