The 63rd APRACA Executive Committee members unanimously approved the establsiment of Center of Excellence on Women Empowering in Bank Keshavarzi. Upon approval of ACE-BK on Women Empowering by the Executive Committee, APRACA Secretary General and Mr. Kim Vada, APRACA Chairman, signed an MoU with Dr. Talebi, Bank Keshavarzi Chairman and Managing Director.

ACE on Women Empowering, proposed by International Cooperation Department of Bank Keshavarzi after successful holding of International Seminar on Iranian Women Economic Empowerment in Iran on January 21, 2013, is aimed at providing the groundwork for women economic excellence in Iran agricultural sector and Asian-Pacific region, with the mission to create special services for women to improve women economic empowerment and international exchange of experiences.

Subject to APRACA's regulations and guidelines, the ACE on Women Empowering must design and conduct programs, training courses, study visits and regional studies in agricultural sector focusing on women economic empowerment; hold seminars on women economic empowerment; design some special banking and financial services for women; offer expertise and technical services to the other members of APRACA; identify international/regional projects for women economic empowerment; publish books, brochures, and other materials for exchange of information; design a specific part in the bank's website to present data and information of ACE; promote co-operations with the other international agencies, banks and associations to improving women economic empowerments; and present ongoing reports on ACE performance to the APRACA; evaluate ACE activities for further improvement.
